Setting Up the Work Processes

Tenrox incorporates a powerful workflow engine that automates many business processes that can all be carried out through work processes. The work processes are accessed from the Processes menu. The work processes provide immediate, significant and measurable benefits for handling problem tracking, loan processing, insurance claims, payment processing or employee performance reviews, as well as include procedures, such as approving documents, managing requests or tracking work process entries. To initiate work processes, work process entries must be created to begin tracking business processes. For information on creating work processes, see Setting Up the Workflows.


Administrators not only have access to their personal work process entries list, but they can also view the status of all work process entries in the organization and can create, copy and delete work process entries from that list. Just as with other users within the organization, the administrator may also have to deal with assigned work process entries.
